Where 272 lecturers and tens of thousands of students are encouraged to carry out various researches and write international journals.

One of the parameters for the achievement of this achievement is measured by the university rankings, both by the Directorate General of Higher Education and by Webometrics. In 2020, the Directorate General of Higher Education in UTama was ranked 57, previously in 2019 it was at 95. The latest from the UTama Webometrics ranking was ranked 55th and 3rd in West Java, Banten Prof. Obi, the nickname of the UTama Rector, was grateful for this achievement.

“Alhamdulillah, Widyatama University continues to record various achievements. There are several assessments, and they can be fulfilled by Widyatama University in 2020, issued by Webometrics January 2021, “said Prof. Obi, Thursday (5/2/2021).

“We still have to improve the quality. “There are many things that must be improved, including services, as well as the achievement of student activities, research, and community service,” he added.

According to him, UTama did not actually prepare a ranking for Webometrics, but to prepare a ranking for the Directorate General of Higher Education which was previously named Ristek Dikti.

“The ranking of Webometrics is not too far from the Higher Education ranking, and usually simultaneously with the Higher Education ranking,” he explained.

When asked about the next UTama ranking target, he targets to be ranked in the 30s nationally, but Djoko Roespinoedji, Chairman of the Widyatama Foundation, is targeting the 45th rank.
