Bandung, November 29, 2024 – The School of Foreign Languages (STBA) JIA conducted a benchmarking visit to Universitas Widyatama to strengthen collaboration and enhance academic quality and student services. The visit covered several strategic units at Universitas Widyatama, including the Directorate of Quality Assurance, Student Affairs Bureau, Career Center Bureau, as well as the Japanese Language and English Language Study Programs.
During the visit to the Directorate of Quality Assurance, STBA JIA explored mechanisms for internal audits, monitoring and evaluation of educational quality, and accreditation implementation strategies. At the Student Affairs Bureau, discussions focused on student development programs, extracurricular activities, and health and welfare support services.
The visit to the Career Center Bureau provided insights into managing relationships with industries and strategies for soft skills training for students. In sessions with the Japanese Language and English Language Study Programs, STBA JIA delved into outcome-based curricula, innovative teaching methods, and student exchange programs.
The event concluded with an interactive discussion that explored opportunities for academic and human resource development collaboration between Universitas Widyatama and STBA JIA.
Representatives from STBA JIA expressed their appreciation for the warm welcome and knowledge-sharing provided by Universitas Widyatama. They hope the benchmarking results will serve as inspiration to further develop their institution and provide the best services for students.
