As an Effort to Strengthen the Image and Quality of Higher Education, Kuningan University Conducted an MoU with Widyatama University

As an effort to strengthen the image and quality of its higher education, Kuningan University (Uniku) collaborates with Widyatama University (UTama).
This began with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between UTama and Uniku which was held virtually, followed by a National Webinar with the theme “Reputable International Journal Publications”, Thursday (18/06/2020) afternoon.

Dr. H. Dikdik Harjadi, S.E., M.Sc., Rector of Kuningan University in his speech revealed that the MoU between Uniku and UTama had been planned for a long time and had been delayed several times.”Actually, the cooperation between Widyatama University and Kuningan University had been planned for a long time, but was delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. However, thank God, even though it was done virtually, this activity could still be carried out smoothly, “he said.

The rector Uniku also hopes that this collaboration can be used as a means of developing various potentials that exist in his academic community.

Meanwhile, Chairman of the Widyatama Foundation, Djoko S. Roespinoedji, SE., PG., Dip., Said the collaboration between UTama and Uniku was held as an effort to develop higher education competitiveness while strengthening the image and quality of the university.

“We express our gratitude for the trust that has been given to Widyatama University in organizing this activity. This activity is a form of collaboration between tertiary institutions that can be used as a means to develop higher education competitiveness as well as strengthen the image and quality of higher education so that it is increasingly recognized and trusted by the community and can also be of benefit to us all, “he said.

On the same occasion Prof. H. Obi was appointed as a speaker for the National Webinar on international journal writing.

Describes various ways of dealing with international journals, behaving towards discontinuous journals and understanding how journals experience upgrading

Prof. H. Obi is also waiting for his other university colleagues to carry out an MoU as well as a follow-up MoA, as an effort to improve the quality of higher education, especially in international journal publications.

“We don’t want to go forward alone, we want to share with other campuses,” concluded Prof. H. Obi.
